The Calgary Health Region (CHR) serves over 1.2 million people from Calgary and the surrounding area. It is one of the largest fully integrated, publicly funded health care systems in Canada.

Solution Overview

The CHR developed a Chronic Disease Management Information System (CDMIS) that allows doctors and nurses access to patient care information from anywhere to provide on-site care. To address concerns on mobile security, the CHR uses BeSecure to prevent unauthorized access to the network and keeps viruses, malware and adware from reaching mobile devices.
